Experience overview

A quiet night in the desert outside Madinah

Less than an hour from the city, the lights drop away and the dunes take over. We drive you out to a set-up camp, welcome you with Arabic coffee and dates, and cook dinner over the fire as the evening settles in.

After dinner there is time to sit by the fire, look at the stars without light pollution and rest in the tents before the drive back in the early hours. Everything is arranged — you just bring warm layers.

Highlights

What makes the night

  • Private transfer from your hotel into the dunes
  • Welcome with Saudi coffee, dates and tea at the camp
  • Dinner cooked on site over charcoal — grilled meats, rice and salads
  • Campfire and a guided look at the night sky
  • Furnished tents with carpets, cushions and blankets
